Miyagi prefecture is home to Matsushima, one of Japan's three most celebrated scenic sights, and Sendai, also known as Mori no Miyako ("City of Green").
The sake uses 100% Kura no Hana sake rice, which is made with pride in Miyagi prefecture, where rice culture remains strong.
It has a refined, fragrant ginjo aroma and a smooth, elegant flavor.

A bowl-shaped sake cup is recommended to bring out the sake's umami and sweetness. Earthenware and porcelain cups match well, too.
It pairs well with Japanese cuisine in general.
