This sake is aged for eight years in the "snow chamber," a low-temperature storage facility that takes advantage of the power of nature in Uonuma, one of the snowiest regions in Japan, and stores up to 1,000 tons of snow. By aging sake for a long period of time at a low temperature of around 3 degrees Celsius, a high quality aged sake with a smooth and elegant flavor is produced while retaining a light and refreshing taste.
