This is a special plum wine produced by SAKURAO DISTILLERY that is produced in a limited quantity and is made by post-ripening plum wine in single malt whiskey barrels. The post-ripened plum wine is bottled as CASK STRENGTH without any addition of water or other modifications. This is the 2022 Edition using a commemorative barrel of our first single malt whiskey "Single Malt Japanese Whiskey Togouchi 1st Release CASK STRENGTH".

■Plum wine
Made with 100% domestic Nanko plum. The green plums are soaked in alcohol to create a refreshing plum scent and just the right amount of sweetness. By using plum wine that has been stored for 6 years, it has a richer, mellower flavor.
■Whiskey barrel
We use bourbon barrels where "Single Malt Japanese Whiskey Togouchi 1st Release CASK STRENGTH" was stored for 3 years. The scent reminiscent of fresh greenery derived from whisky, and the pleasant sweetness reminiscent of apricots and marmalade, give plum wine a complex and long-lasting aftertaste.
