Ripe plums from Kyoto′s Aodani Plum Forest are steeped in sake called Kizakura from Kyoto′s Fushimi ward, which is known for its sake industry. It′s a nigori umeshu (umeshu with plum pulp) with a rich flavor of ripe plums.
